Coaching

Are you seeking…….??

  • Increased ability to observe and reflect

  • Better performance and greater personal satisfaction

  • Lasting, sustainable change

  • Fresh perspectives, new habits and results better suited to your needs and expectations

  • Practical leadership and lifestyle skills

  • A more effective way of listening and communicating that uses your mind, body and spirit

  • A greater sense of presence, focus and intention

  • More harmony in life

  • Improved self-confidence and attainment of personally and professionally relevant goals

If these are aligned with your goals, there is an opening for coaching!

Coaching is a partnership between you and the coach that supports the achievement of remarkable results, based on your change goals. You choose the topic for coaching and the coach proposes a coaching program in which the purpose and expected results are described and agreed to. The coaching process begins with discovering the way you observe and interpret your world, as it relates to the topic. The coach provides a supportive environment for discovery in which you have enough room to go beyond your current experience. With greater awareness and understanding of your current approach, you can consider how to adjust and adopt a new approach to move closer to the change results you want. The coach works alongside you in this discovery process, offering distinctions, posing questions to probe deeper levels of meaning, bringing knowledge and expertise, as appropriate, and checking the relevance of emerging insights against the coaching program’s purpose and results. This self-correcting and self-generating method fosters and enables long-term sustainable change. This capacity to sustain lasting change, with or without an ongoing coaching relationship, is the foundation of the Integral Coaching® method.

Leadership and Lifestyle Coaching focuses on topics that affect your overall effectiveness, health and well-being, such as:

  • Leadership agility

  • Developing executive competencies

  • Emotional intelligence

  • Resiliency, strength, flexibility and energy management

  • Physical activity

  • Nutrition

  • Body image and weight management

  • Stress management

  • Interpersonal skills and relationship management

  • Outlook on life and work

  • Work/life balance

  • Self-awareness

  • Job interview preparation

Individual Coaching

Coaching begins with a conversation to understand your topic, assess your current strengths and challenges, and discover what seems to be the difference you desire. If you are ready to commit to working toward change, I propose a coaching program to guide the work ahead. The purpose and expected results of the coaching program are clearly defined, as well as the behaviours to be changed, developed or improved. Between scheduled coaching sessions, you will be asked to do specific exercises and practices that support the  achievement of your goals. Through self-observation exercises, you will develop greater awareness of the current way you approach your topic. With specific practices, you will gradually shift the way you see your topic and be able to adopt a new way to approach the topic that supports your change objectives. Coaching sessions are every 2 to 3 weeks and may be done in person or over the telephone. Each session usually lasts one hour. The length of the coaching program varies depending on your needs, and is typically 4 to 6 months.

Group Coaching Circles

These are groups of 5 or 6 people who meet once every 4 to 6 weeks over 6 to 12 months. They focus on lifestyle-related challenges, not by advice giving and problem solving, but by asking insightful questions through a process of collaborative inquiry. In these groups, participants are encouraged to suspend their conclusions and judgments around the issue. They enter into an exploration about the way in which the person bringing forward the issue is currently relating to it. This leads to deep reflection and breakthrough thinking which in turn results in new action. During this discussion process, participants learn from and support each other as they identify new ways and approaches to move forward. There is an immediate and direct impact on the way participants think and behave.
